To date, this project has been designed and funded by two South Sudanese businesses, BENY Architecture and The Weaver Group, Ltd.. We've started this way for a few reasons: 1. to kick-start the project; 2. to directly meet our social and moral responsibility as citizens and businesses of the new Republic; and 3. to promote a private sector that is creative, responsible, progressive, independent and efficient. We'd like to expand our capabilities! 


The Pavilion seeks friends across academia, the public, industry, government and community-based organizations.  We'd love to exchange ideas and encourage the private sector to propose industry-specific activities for children that may be appropriate for consideration.  Some ways in which you can help are:

• Sponsor an artblock or several artblocks;
• Help fund the construction of the Children's Pavilion and Interactive Landscape;
• Donate materials:  art supplies, bicycles, solar panels, etc.;
• Lend your expertise;
• Become a mentor;
• Order a Little M.I.S.S. Bakery (TM) or a Handmade Basket or a Republic of South Sudan T-Shirt ;  (see below);
• Suggest something else!

          Little M.I.S.S. Bakery (TM)   - CURRENTLY ON HIATUS

• In collaboration with Little M.I.S.S. Bakery (TM), the Children's Pavilion and Interactive Landscape is selling select cakes, scones and cookies that you can purchase on order.   Everything is baked in South Sudan using as many local ingredients as possible --mangos and other in-season fruits, lulu oil, groundnuts, honey, eggs from local chickens as opposed to the frozen doozies shipped in from Brazil, etc.-- and 100% of the profit goes toward the Children's Pavilion and Interactive Landscape.  YES, REALLY!

        Handmade Baskets

• Buy a handmade basket made by the sisters, mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers of the country's children.  Each basket is one-of-a-kind and made with much love in villages waaaaaaaay outside of the capital city where the grass grows tall and children are more familiar with climbing trees than washing SUVs.

• We sell t-shirts - black and white cotton with the new coat of arms for the Republic of South Sudan printed on them.  Kids and Adult Sizes.  S, M, L, XL. XXL.
